Claude Laforce

Claude graduated from the NAIT Personal Fitness training program in 2000.  He has been certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer since 2001.  Additional courses include Waterworks/Joint Works, Strength training, Aquatics, Third Age (older adult fitness), Stretch Therapy and Stretch Instructor.  Since 2001 he has worked primarily in rehab and with special populations.

In Edmonton, Claude worked with Outreach Services of the Grey Nuns Hospital, and with Capital Health Active Anytime Anywhere.  Since moving to Sooke in October 2005, he has worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant for Sooke Evergreen Physiotherapy.

Claude has pursued a wide range of fitness activities from yoga to weight training.  He has spent over 20 years training in various martial arts, achieving a black belt in Kung Fu.  He has also competed in many running events of various distances including 6 full marathons.
